  1. MicroMixer version 0.12 (Shareware Version)

  3. MicroMixer is a Win95 application.  It should function with all audio cards
  4. that are Win95 compatible.  It aims to replace Win95's SndVol32.exe
  5. application that so often takes up too much of our valuable desktop space.

  7. 1.  HISTORY
  8.     1 Feb 96, Version 0.1   - First release.
  9.     5 Mar 96, Version 0.11  - MicroMixer resides in the tray when minimized,
  10.                               this further reduced its already small
  11.                               footprint.
  12.                             - Double-click on MicroMixer for quick minimize
  13.                               implemented.
  14.     12 Mar 96, Version 0.12 - Patch for expiration bug.
  15.                             - Patch for instance count bug.

  17. 2.  FILES
  18. You should have the following files after you have unzipped the MicroMix.Zip
  19. file:
  20.         MICROMIX.EXE    - The MicroMixer application
  21.         REGISTER.TXT    - The Registration Form
  22.         README.TXT      - The file that you are reading now

  24. 3.  SHAREWARE RESTRICTIONS
  25. The shareware version of MicroMixer allows users to evaluate it for free for
  26. a period of 30 days.  It will automatically expire after the evaluation
  27. period is over.  Users who are interested to own a copy of the Registered
  28. version of MicroMixer, should fill up the registration form (Register.Txt)
  29. and mail it back to the author with the registration fee included.  Upon
  30. registration, you will receive the registered version of MicroMixer.
  31. Registered users will also get future upgrades of MicroMixer for free.

  33. 4.  SHAREWARE FEATURES
  34. The shareware version of MicroMixer only allows users to adjust output
  35. volumes only.  If the user's system has more than one audio card, this
  36. version of MicroMixer will only allow the user to control the first audio
  37. card it detects.

  39. 5.  REGISTERED VERSION FEATURES
  40. The registered version of MicroMixer, other than having all the features in
  41. the shareware version, also includes the following:

  43.         * Input volume controls
  44.         * Multiple audio card controls (if u have more than 1 audio card in
  45.                                         your system)
  46.         * Plug-n-Play detection
